Finally uploaded those batgirl photos! I'm actually going to be doing another shoot with the same photographer later this month, this time in a studio. Should be awesome!
Right now I'm working on a very large early 18th century project for school. I've finished the stays, so I'll post photos of them as soon as I can get some good ones.
Sorry for the hiatus; school got really busy last term. Should be more things going up as I finish them this winter and into the spring - I've got some exciting projects lined up!

The List
The List, as of right now (not necessarily in order of intended completion)
- Batgirl cosplay (Stephanie Brown) for FanExpo in August
- 1770s wool and linen stays
- 1770s silk quilted petticoat
- 1860s cage crinoline
- steampunk full-length tulle crinoline
- steampunk silk bolero/spencer-type jacket
- 15thC leather turnshoes
- Add lace to 1890s corset
There's probably more, and there are definitely more things that I'm planning but that's what's on my immediate radar (i.e., that I already have materials for).
Finish it in... March
I just joined Magical's "Finish it in..." group, so here's my goal for this month: finally finish my dark red 1890s corset. I took it apart last month to alter it (it needed a few inches taken out of it) and now it's been sitting there for a few weeks. The actual alterations are done, but it needs new eyelets put in, the binding put back on along the edges, and lace along the top. Then the boning channels need re-flossing. I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish the lace and flossing yet this month, since I have a ton of papers and school sewing projects to do, but I'm going to try! =)
Raspberry Wool Cotehardie and Green Wool Hood
I *finally* uploaded photos of my raspberry wool cotehardie, which I finished over the Christmas break, and my green wool hood, which I finished way back in September. I did a photoshoot at UofT, where the photos were taken for my grey kirtle, and it was all lovely and snowy. The layers of cloth kept me completely warm - only my nose and feet were cold =)
Kirtle!
Kirtle is done! Belt is done! Pictures are posted! Hurrah! =D
